<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage device structure contributing to both energy storage and mechanical strength. <P>SOLUTION: An energy storage device includes a super capacitor having first and second electrodes. The electrodes may be based on conductive nanofibers. The electrodes are activated in an appropriate manner to provide electrodes with dual functionality of energy storage and mechanical properties.
