<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clay film and a member thereof, the film which has low moisture permeability and gas permeability, a water repellent and water resistant surface, and mechanical strength sufficient for the film to be utilized as a self-supporting film. <P>SOLUTION: The clay film with a water repellent and/or water resistant surface is obtained by: preparing a dispersion containing clay alone, or clay containing an additive, or clay containing an additive and a reinforcing material; casting the dispersion into a vessel or applying the dispersion on the surface of a supporting body; subsequently forming a clay film by separating a liquid which is the dispersion medium therefrom; peeling off the clay film away from the vessel or the supporting body if necessary to obtain a self-supporting film; and subsequently subjecting at least one surface thereof to surface treatment by using a resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
