<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control contents of a mute video on a receiving device by a sending device. <P>SOLUTION: A sending device 1 comprises: a detection part 13 for detecting a change of a kind of a reproducing video signal; a sending part 20 for sending the reproducing video signal as a sending video signal and executing a video mute for sending a reproducing mute signal corresponding to a predetermined mute video instead of the reproducing video signal as a sending video signal when the detection part 13 detects the change of the kind of the reproducing video signal; a video mute instruction part 222 for sending an instruction to start the video mute when the sending part 20 sends the reproducing video mute signal; and a video mute information providing part 223 for sending the video mute information to create a display video mute signal corresponding to a predetermined mute video. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
