PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antigenic peptide sequence derived from Neisseria meningitidis bacteria.

SOLUTION: WO99/36544 discloses a number of proteins derived from Neisseria meningitidis. This invention relates to these protein fragments containing at least one antigen determinant group. These proteins can be prepared by various means (e.g. recombinant expression, refining from a cell culture, chemical synthesis and the like), and in various forms (e.g. native form, C-terminal and/or N-terminal fusion form and the like).
