<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that makes an appropriate inquiry according to a situation. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication control part of the game machine includes: a storage means for storing identification information for identifying a predetermined device; an authentication means for acquiring identification information of a predetermined device transmitted by a predetermined device, and authenticating the predetermined device on the basis of the acquired identification information and identification information stored in the storage means; and a means for transmitting the identification information transmitted by the predetermined device to an authenticating device, and making an inquiry about authentication of the predetermined device on the basis of identification information, to the authenticating device.
