<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed tapered roller bearing for a roll neck, the bearing capable of achieving longer life even in an environment where there is high possibility of entry of water to an inner part. <P>SOLUTION: The sealed tapered roller bearing for the roll neck includes: a plurality of inner rings 13, 14; a plurality of outer rings 11, 12; a plurality of tapered rollers 15 arranged between the inner rings 13, 14 and the outer rings 11, 12; and sealing devices 19 arranged at both ends in the shaft direction and seal gaps between the inner rings 13, 14 and the outer rings 11, 12, wherein the sum V of volumes of inner spaces formed on the small diameter side of the tapered rollers 15 with large diameter side edge surface P1 of the tapered rollers 15 as the boundary, that are annular spaces formed between outer circumferential surfaces of the inner rings 13, 14 and inner circumferential surfaces of the outer rings 11, 12 are set to be ≥14.5% of the total bearing volume W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
