<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a cushion pad, which can improve work efficiency of deburring without affecting product performance and degrading manufacturing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: After a cushion pad 2 is released from a foam molding mold 1, in particular after the cushion pad pass through a crushing device 34, air is blown to a surface (reverse surface) on a burred side of the cushion pad 2 while the cushion pad 2 is conveyed, in an air blow cooling device 31. Consequently, a mean surface temperature (a root part of burrs 26) of the foam molded article is cooled to 35°C or lower, preferably, 30°C or lower. When the surface temperature is thus lowered, "stickiness" of the root part 26 of the burrs having not been cured yet is reduced and the root part 26 does not become hard, thereby improving work efficiency of cutting removal.
