<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum dot light-emitting element capable of exhibiting high emission efficiency by enhancing light emission with a novel plasmon material, even if a quantum dot light-emitting material having a relatively low quantum yield is used. <P>SOLUTION: The quantum dot light-emitting element includes a luminous layer 50 containing a quantum dot light-emitting material 55, and a metal-based particle aggregate layer in which 30 or more metal-based particles 20 are arranged two-dimensionally while spaced apart from each other. The metal-based particles 20 have an average grain size in the range of 200-1600 nm, an average height in the range of 55-500 nm, and an aspect ratio in the range of 1-8. The metal-based particles 20 are arranged so that the average distance of adjoining metal-based particles is in the range of 1-150 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
