<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, a processing method and a control program in which operability can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes: a display unit 21 that displays a character display area 101 for displaying a character, and an application selection area 104 for selecting one application from plural applications; and a control unit 45 that executes processing using a character displayed in the character display area 101 with an application selected in the application selection area 104.
