<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for giving a feeling of presence to a user. <P>SOLUTION: Electronic equipment 101 includes: a display part 103 for displaying an object; a contact detection part 104 for detecting a contact by a contact object; a load detection part 106 for detecting a pressing load on the contact detection part 104; and a control part 109 for detecting the contact of a position corresponding to the object displayed at the display part 103 by the contact detection part 104, and for, when the pressing load detected by the load detection part 106 satisfies a predetermined load reference, performing predetermined processing to the object.
