<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal, lock control program, and lock control method that allows a user to easily perform a predetermined function through a touch operation. <P>SOLUTION: A portable telephone 10 includes a display 14 and a touch panel 16 which is disposed on the display 14, and allows setting of a locked state. When a locked state is set, a lock screen including lock objects is shown on the display 14. When a mail is received, notification information on the new incoming mail is recorded in a notification table and shown in a notification region in the lock screen. When the user slides a lock object after touching it and releases the lock object in the notification region thereof, the locked state is cleared and also mail function is executed so that the new incoming mail appears on the display.
