<p>PURPOSE: A mode conversion method of a complex human interface device and a device thereof are provided to integrate a text input device and a pointing device in one human interface device, thereby reducing a unit price and a size of a product. CONSTITUTION: A text input unit is composed of physical buttons. A pointer position information input unit receives information related to a pointer position from a user. A pointer execution command receiving unit receives a user command in order to perform a function in the pointer position. A pointer position information transmission unit(104) transmits the information related to the pointer position to a digital device connected to a human interface device. A first mode conversion unit is operated by first input which is inputted to a first button. The pointer execution command receiving unit is operated by second input which is inputted to the first button.</p> |
