PURPOSE: A thruster-detachable ship and a method for detaching a thruster from the ship are provided to conveniently detach a thruster and parts related with the thruster from a hull. CONSTITUTION: A thruster-detachable ship(100) comprises a hull(110), detachable thruster blocks(120), and thruster block fixing parts. A hull comprises one or more receiving grooves(112). The detachable thruster blocks are detachably coupled to the receiving grooves. The thruster block fixing parts are coupled to positions where the hull and the receiving grooves are met by hinge shafts and comprise a fixed plate and a fixed plate driving part.
