<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a pair of side fences linking with each other without depending on the dominant hand of a user, by means of simple mechanical structure. <P>SOLUTION: A paper feed tray includes: a tray body on which a plurality of sheets can be laminated; the pair of side fences that regulate a side position of the laminated sheets; a center pinion that is positioned between the side fences and engages with racks each which is fixed on the side fences; a locking member that is attached to the side fence; and a latching piece that is arranged on a bottom side of the tray body and engages with the locking member to regulate a movement of the side fence.
