<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively shorten a teaching time of a teaching device for teaching an identifier using support vector machines (SVM). <P>SOLUTION: A teaching device is configured to include: a learning unit including a plurality of support vector machines which receive divided teaching data into which teaching data is divided, respectively to perform a first stage of learning; SVM coupling units corresponding to second to final stages of learning respectively, each of which receives support vector groups outputted as learning results per support vector machine in a preceding stage to couple the support vector groups by a prescribed number and constructs support vector machines for receiving the coupled support vector groups to perform a succeeding stage of learning; and support vector reduction units each of which reduces support vectors in support vector groups outputted from a plurality of support vector machines in a preceding stage and outputs the support vector groups having reduced support vectors to SVM coupling units in a succeeding stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
