<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection system for elevators, in which a sensor is suitably installed taking into consideration radio wave conditions on site, and initialization of the sensor after its installation and data collection are surely performed by radio. <P>SOLUTION: The data collection system for elevators includes: a wireless sensor terminal 11 which is installed in at least one piece of maintenance object equipment (an elevator car 2 or the like) in elevator facilities and used for measuring data necessary for the failure diagnosis of the maintenance object equipment; and a data collection unit 12 which is disposed at an optional place in the elevator facilities and used for collecting the data measured by the wireless sensor terminal 11, by radio communication. The data collection unit 12 has a radio wave intensity measurement function of measuring the radio wave intensity by radio communication between itself and a portable wireless terminal 15 possessed by maintenance staff A. When the maintenance staff A installs the wireless sensor terminal 11, the radio wave intensity which is measured by the radio wave intensity measurement function is transmitted to the portable wireless terminal 15 as the radio wave intensity of the installation place of the wireless sensor terminal 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
