<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a storage capacity by automatically deleting an unnecessary change log in a system for performing content synchronization on the basis of a change log. <P>SOLUTION: For each other apparatus, a communication parameter used for communication with the other apparatus is managed. For each other apparatus, a change log which indicates an update history of contents in storage means from past content synchronization with the other apparatus and is to be referred to in content synchronization is managed.
