SAFETY DEVICE FOR POWER SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a power switch which can enhance operability while preventing shutdown which is not intended in power supply of an apparatus or the like.

SOLUTION: A main power supply switch 50 comprises at least a switch body 51 and a cover 52. The switch body 51 comprises: a shaft section 53 serving as a center of turning; a switch-on section 54 for switching on power supply by depressing it by a user and turning around the shaft section 53; and a shutdown section 55 for shutting down the power supply by depressing it by the user and turning around the shaft section 53 in a direction reverse to the switch-on section 54. A cover section 52 covers the switch-on section 54, thereby restraining turning of the switch body 51.
