<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform video reproduction in real time even if the number of frames included in a fragment is smaller than the number of frames included in GOV, or video transmission is interrupted at any moment in time. <P>SOLUTION: The video transmitter comprises a coding unit for encoding a video frame, a storage unit storing a video frame subjected to intra-frame coding and a video frame subjected to inter-frame prediction coding, a transmission unit transmitting a video frame stored by the storage unit for every fragment obtained by dividing a video frame group, from a video frame subjected to intra-frame coding by the coding unit to a video frame immediately before a video frame subjected to intra-frame coding anew, into multiple groups, and a control unit controlling transmission of video frames preceding a video frame being subjected to intra-frame coding by the coding unit, in units of fragment, after a moment in time of determining limitation of transmission of video frames by the transmission unit, when a determination is made to limit transmission of video frame by the transmission unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
