<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-ceiling installation type article carrier facility capable of simplifying operation for forming facility and improving carrying efficiency of an article. <P>SOLUTION: In an on-ceiling installation type article carrier facility, plural running paths 4A, 4B on which article carrier cars run toward the same direction are provided as being arrayed in a width direction of the path on a ceiling side, and a first branching path 5A on which an article carrier car runs from one side running path 4A to the other side running path 4B of a pair of running paths 4A, 4B next to each other among the plural running paths 4A, 4B and a second branching path 5B on which the article carrier car runs from the other side running path 4B to the one side running path 4A are provided in postures inclining toward the running paths 4A, 4B in a planar view so as to connect the one side running path 4A and the other side running path 4B.
