<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nail clippers improved in operability to be user-friendly. <P>SOLUTION: The nail clippers are provided with a stopper 12 disposed inward from upper and lower blade edges 1a and 2a and between both of upper and lower blade bodies 1 and 2, so that the stopper 12 does not get in the way and a nail is smoothly inserted between both of the upper and lower blade edges 1a and 2a. The nail clippers are structured as follows: a nail abutment part 24 facing a space between both the upper and lower blade edges 1a and 2a separated from each other is provided at the stopper 12; the distance L of the nail abutment part 24 to both the upper and lower blade edges 1a and 2a is changed and the stopper 12 is positioned so as to keep the position corresponding to every changed distance; thereby not so much force for depressing the nail against the stopper 12 is necessary when applying the nail inserted between both the upper and lower blade edges 1a and 2a, to the nail abutment part 24 from outside both the upper and lower nail edges 1a and 2a; the nail clippers are stably operated when used, and then the distance L of the nail abutment part 24 to both the upper and lower blade edges 1a and 2a is kept so as to clip the nail in a desired dimension of cut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
