<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which generates a higher-pitched impact sound with better resonance. <P>SOLUTION: A hollow golf club head includes a face portion, a crown portion having a shape which bulges out upward, and a sole portion. The crown portion includes a vibration promotion region and a surrounding region which surrounds the vibration promotion region.
