<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a resin composition with a particulate filler dispersed in the resin. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the resin composition includes a mixing step to mix a coagulate of the particulate filler and the resin and obtain a mixture, and a first kneading step to heat and knead the mixture in this order, wherein a filling factor of the coagulate per unit volume is 25% or less.
