<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female terminal structure that improves contact stability by increasing terminal contact pressure and achieving smooth follow-up displacement following up a male terminal in coupling. <P>SOLUTION: A female terminal structure of a female terminal 19 includes: an electric connection part 11 which receives a male terminal 15 from a tip opening part 13; a spring piece 17 which is provided inside the electric connection part 11 and opposed to one surface 27 of the male terminal 15; a spring-side contact part 39 which is provided to the spring piece 17, and comes into contact with the one surface 27 of the male terminal 15; a cylinder-side front contact part 43 which is provided inside the electric connection part 11 opposite the spring piece 17, with a projection tip in a substantially hemispherical shape coming into contact with the other surface 45 of the male terminal 15 more on the side of the tip opening part 13 than the spring-side contact part 39; and a cylinder-side rear contact part 47 which is provided inside the electric connection part 11 opposite the spring piece 17, with a projection tip in a substantially hemispherical shape coming into contact with the other surface 45 of the male terminal 15 more on a rear end side than the spring-side contact part 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
