<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that suppresses the alignment disorder of liquid crystal molecules near the level difference part of a cell thickness adjustment layer and also causes no decrease in opening ratio. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a cell thickness adjustment layer 9 that is formed at a position facing a reflection part 6 of a pixel electrode 8 on the liquid crystal layer side of a counter substrate 2, and a counter electrode 5 having a hole 15 continuously opened across part of an area facing one transmission part 7, part of an area facing the other transmission part 7, and part of an area facing the reflection part 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
