PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure high rigidity in a vertical direction, and to suppress rigidity in a vehicle width direction.SOLUTION: This pillar garnish 10 includes: a body 13 covering a pillar of a vehicle from a compartment side; an extension 14 integrally formed with the body in a position being an upper part of the body in attachment to the vehicle and provided with guide surfaces 14a, 14b regulating the deployment direction of an air bag so as to deploy to the compartment side in the inflation of the airbag at an upper end; and a box 19 positioned between the body and the pillar in the attachment to the vehicle and integrally formed with the body and the extension 14. The box 19 includes: a rear wall 19e extending in the vertical direction while facing the pillar in the attachment to the vehicle; sidewalls 19d, 19d' adjacent to the rear wall and extending in the vertical direction in the attachment to the vehicle; and a fixation part 19a to the pillar provided in the rear wall side. The sidewalls have a thick wall and a thin wall, and the thin wall is positioned more closely to the body than the rear wall. |
