PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored contact lens which has a new structure and exhibits a new effect not conventionally available by wearing it.SOLUTION: Against a concept that "a clear colored line is made to be clearly conspicuous in an outer edge of an iris 12" in a prior art, an outer peripheral gradation area 30 and an inner peripheral gradation area 32 are provided in a color band 22. Light transmittance is made to increase from an inner peripheral side toward an outer peripheral side in the outer peripheral gradation area 30, while light transmittance is made to increase from an outer peripheral side toward an inner peripheral side in the inner peripheral gradation area 32. Thus, concentration is made to gradually shift from the iris 12 toward a white of eye 14 to avoid an artificial impression like in the prior art, and a new colored contact lens 10 capable of exhibiting a cosmetic effect while keeping a natural and mild impression as much as possible can be provided. |
