PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with a cooling part which has high cooling effect and effectively cools the battery even if one of cells housed in the battery with the cooling part produces abnormal heat thereby effectively inhibiting heat conduction to the other cells, which achieves a high level of safety and is small, lightweight, and inexpensive.SOLUTION: In a battery with a cooling part, secondary batteries, which are heated to a high temperature during abnormal time, and a cooling container, split by the high temperature and where a cooling liquid composed mainly of water and a film like porous body maintaining and containing the cooling liquid are sealed, are disposed so as to contact with each other. The cooling container is formed so as to be split by the high temperature. |
