PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool capable of carrying out a surfing paddling easily for a long time.SOLUTION: A wet suit 10 and vest for surfing includes a thoracicoabdominal boundary projecting pocket 11 to cover a lowermost breast rib, body side projecting pocket 12 at an abdomen front portion, and a leg projecting pocket 13 at a leg side portion on the wet suit. As filling material of the projecting pocket, generally, synthetic resin or rubber sponge is used. Others such as air and gas may be used. In this case, formation of a projection may be extinguished as necessary. A projection made of air or gas increases a buoyant force and hence can serve as a life preserver, which is most convenient. Ordinary air or oxygen with appropriate density as gas material is available as emergency oxygen. |
