PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for suspensions, capable of suppressing occurrence of corrosion in a terminal part.SOLUTION: The substrate for suspensions has a metal supporting substrate, an insulating layer, a metal thin film part and a wiring layer formed in this order. In a terminal part of the wiring layer, the edge portion of the metal thin film part is formed inside the edge portion of the terminal part, and thereby, a part of the surface on an insulating layer side of the terminal part is exposed from the metal thin film part. A metal plating part is formed on the surface of the terminal part including the exposed surface so as to fill at least between the terminal part and the insulating layer. |
