PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of reducing power consumption in a horizontal transfer portion without incurring complication of a structure of a horizontal driving circuit for driving the horizontal transfer portion.SOLUTION: In a solid-state imaging apparatus 10 having a horizontal transfer portion 12 for transferring signal charges generated in a light-receiving portion PD, and a horizontal driving circuit 14 for driving the horizontal transfer portion 12, the horizontal transfer portion 12 has a first transfer gate G1 and a second transfer gate G2 which are alternately arranged along a charge transfer path, and the horizontal driving circuit 14 generates two pulse signals of the same period as a first horizontal driving signal ΦH1a to be applied to the first transfer gate G1 and a second horizontal driving signal ΦH2 to be applied to the second transfer gate G2 so that one pulse signal rises in a low-level period of the other pulse signal. |
