A flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition includes about 100 parts by weight of a base resin including an aromatic vinyl resin and a polyphenylene oxide resin; and about 0.1 to about 30 parts by weight of a polyphosphonate copolymer represented by Formula 1: In Formula 1, A and B are each independently a single bond, C1-C5 alkylene, C1-C5 alkylidene, C5-C6 cycloalkylidene, -S- or -SO2-, provided that A and B are not identical to each other; R5 and R6 are each independently substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C6-C20 aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted C6-C20 aryloxy; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each independently substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C3-C6 cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C6-C12 aryl, or a halogen atom; a and b are each independently an integer from 0 to 4; and n and m are each independently an integer from about 1 to about 500.
