<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which, even if a communication status is adverse, under the environment where the communication status is varied, isochronous data are transmitted without fail while maintaining isochronism of the isochronous data and while suppressing reduction in throughput of the non-isochronous data to a minimum. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: an input means for sequentially inputting in predetermined timing isochronous data to be played back at a predetermined time; a readout means for reading out non-isochronous data stored in a storage means beforehand; and a first transmission means for transmitting isochronous data and non-isochronous data to a receiving device, wherein the first transmission means performs error-correcting coding processing onto input isochronous data to produce a first codeword, performs error-correcting coding processing onto read-out non-isochronous data to produce a second codeword, divides the second codeword to produce divided data, couples the first codeword and the divided data to produce a frame, and sends the generated frame to the receiving device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
