PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an organic light-emitting element which is arranged to offer excellent performance without affecting electron injection and transport properties, and can be manufactured by a simple process; and a method of manufacturing the organic light-emitting element.SOLUTION: Provided are an organic light-emitting element and a method of manufacturing the same. The organic light-emitting element comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode; and at least one organic material layer disposed between the electrodes, and including a light-emitting layer. In the organic material layer, at least one layer includes: an electron transport material; and at least one selected from a group consisting of a metal halide, a metal oxide and an organic metal. The electron transport material is a compound having a functional group selected from an imidazole group, an oxazole group, a thiazole group, a quinoline group and a phenanthroline group. |
