PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fluorooxyalkylene group-containing polymer-modified silane formable of a water-repellent/oil-repellent layer excellent in chemical resistance.SOLUTION: This fluorooxyalkylene group-containing polymer-modified silane is expressed by general formula (1) (wherein Rf is a monovalent or bivalent fluorooxyalkylene group-containing polymer residue; Rf''s are each independently 1-10C fluoroalkyl group; Zs are each independently a single bond or a 2-6 valents group having a siloxane bond; Rs are each independently a 1-4C alkyl group or phenyl group; Xs are each independently a hydrolyzable group; a's are each independently an integer of 2 to 5; b's are each independently 2 or 3; c's are each independently 0 or 1; y's are every unit independently an integer of 1 to 5; α is an integer of 1 to 5; &bgr; is 1 or 2, provided that when Z is a single bond, c is 0 and α is 1).
