PURPOSE: A power generating device using the weight of a vehicle is provided to install a moving walk in a downhill and to obtain torque by moving the moving walk by using the weight of the vehicle stopped on the moving walk, thereby generating electricity by using the obtained torque. CONSTITUTION: A power generating device using the weight of a vehicle comprises a moving walk, a brake device, a power generator(70), and a frame. The moving walk is installed in a downhill and includes a chain(63) and a gear wheel(69) capable of orbit-rotating the chain. A moving board(65) is arranged on the top of the chain, and stoppers are protruded on the moving board at a constant space. The brake device is installed in the gear wheel, thereby stopping the entire moving walk. The generator is connected to the gear wheel in the lower part of the moving walk and receives torque from the gear wheel. The frame supports the gear wheel and assembles the moving walk to be integrated. When the vehicle enters to the moving walk, the vehicle is stopped by the stoppers on the moving board, and the moving walk is orbit-moved by the weight of the vehicle. |
