PURPOSE: A non-centrosymmetric gallium-organic framework compound and optical materials using the same are provided to express non-linear optical characteristics based on the structural characteristics of non-centrosymmetry. CONSTITUTION: A gallium-organic framework compound, which is represented by chemical formula 1, is composed of 4 coordinate anions and tetrapropyl ammonium(N(C3H7)4) cations. The 4 coordinate anions are three dimensional frameworks in which GaO4 is coordinated with benzene tri-carboxylrate(C6H3(CO2)3). The gallium-organic framework compound is a non-centrosymmetry of a trigonal crystalline structure in which the 4 coordinate is protruded towards the c-direction. Optical materials are based on the non-linear optical characteristic of the non-centrosymmetry of the gallium-organic framework compound. |
