PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell phone capable of reporting detection of an object behind a user or that approaching behind the user while talking on the cell phone. SOLUTION: If, while a user is talking on a cell phone 10, an object existing behind the user of the cell phone 10 or an object approaching from behind is detected by an object detecting sensor, for example a photoelectric sensor 30, arranged on the side of a body of the cell phone 10, for example on the left side surface, the fact is reported using a vibrator 33 for vibrating the case and/or a speaker 34 for ringing an alarm or ringtone to a user of the cell phone 10.
