The installation has a thermodynamic circuit (A) coupled thermically with a cold source and a hot source and arranged to ensure production of sanitary hot water and/or to ensure a heating of a room. Another thermodynamic circuit (B) is coupled thermically the cold source and the hot source and arranged to selectively ensure a heating or a cooling of the room. The former circuit includes elements consisting of a non-reversible heat pump and/or the latter circuit includes elements consisting of a reversible type heat pump. An independent claim is also included for a method for thermal conditioning a room, by heating and/or cooling and/or ventilation, and for producing sanitary hot water.
