PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently constructing a mechanical opening/closing body stop device for an opening/closing device at a site of installing the opening/closing device.SOLUTION: A mechanical opening/closing body stop device for an opening/closing device comprises: a string-like member which is stretched between a shutter curtain 1 serving as an opening/closing body performing opening/closing movement and an automatic closing device 32 which is a mechanical control device for mechanically controlling an opening/closing machine 13 serving as a driving device for driving the shutter curtain 1; and a mechanical coupling device 39 which, when the shutter curtain 1 in the course of closing movement abuts against an obstacle 34, brings the shutter curtain 1 and the string-like member into a state where they are mechanically coupled to each other. After performing operation of arranging the shutter curtain 1 so that it can perform opening/closing movement, the string-like member consisting of a locking wire 36 and a first control wire 111 is stretched between the shutter curtain 1 and the automatic closing device 32. |
