PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the inclination for a spool of a locking member even if the spool is pulled by a seat belt at an emergency.SOLUTION: A second EA plate support member 16 integrated with a locking base 19 has a cylindrical supported portion 21, and the supported portion 21 is fit and supported within a locking base inclination control support portion 20 of a spool 9 so as to be relatively rotatable and by fitting together wherein the inclination for the spool 9 is controlled. Thereby, it is controlled that the central shaft of the locking base 19 inclines to the central shaft of the spool 9 even if the spool 9 is pulled upward by a large tension of a seat belt 4 at an emergency. Therefore, EA action of a seat belt retractor 3 is stably and effectively performed. |
