PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method and a water treatment system for efficiently removing carboxylic acids and/or alcohol from water to be treated that contains the carboxylic acids and/or alcohol.SOLUTION: Alcohol or carboxylic acids are injected to water to be treated to thereby generate an ester from the reaction with alcohol or carboxylic acids in the water to be treated. The generated ester is adsorbed by an adsorbent. The adsorbent after adsorbing the ester is removed from the water to be treated to thereby remove the carboxylic acids or alcohol in the water to be treated. |
