To breathing which the aquatic animal in an airtight container performs, by supplying superfluous carbonate ion in a form of carbonic acid buffer solution, pH is maintained highly, carbon dioxide is changed into hydrogen carbonate ions and carbonate ion, preventing suffocation. |
