PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which reduces an exposure dose and which enables acquisition of an image with a proper image SD (an image hardly affected by a noise).SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus, which includes an X-ray generation unit provided rotatably along a circular orbit centering on a subject, performs X-ray scanning of the subject by radiating X-rays to the subject from the X-ray generation unit, and acquires detection data. The X-ray CT apparatus includes a reconfiguration processing unit, an identification unit, and a scan control unit. The reconfiguration processing unit reconfigures projection data based on the detection data, and creates volume data. The identification unit identifies a position of an attention region of the subject on the basis of the volume data. The scan control unit controls the X-ray generation unit so that the X-rays can be radiated to only a partial section, including an adjacent position where the X-ray generation unit gets closest to the identified position of the intention region, of the circular orbit. |
