PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for processing images.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: accessing digital image data representing an image including an object; accessing reference data including a shape model relating to a plurality of shapes of objects from a baseline object; the plurality of objects and the baseline object being from a class of the object; and removing an element not related to the object from the image by representing a shape of the object using the shape model. |
