The machine has an axial rotor comprising upstream and downstream disks (4, 5) with a veil (29), and a rim (6) provided in external periphery of the veil. An inner bore (24) is provided in interior periphery on a side of a rotation axle of the disks. A radial air-guiding unit (18) is placed on one of the disks, and includes an air inlet (22) and an air outlet (23) between the rim and the bore. The guiding unit includes a ventilation opening (26) placed between the inlet and the outlet for directing a portion of the air circulating in the guiding unit along direction of the downstream disk.
