PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and work efficiency in a handrail device of a man conveyor. SOLUTION: In this handrail device 30, a fitting groove 52 is formed on a surface (a surface tuning to the step 14 side) of an inside deck 33 installed so as to cover a lower end part of a handrail panel 31, and a screw hole 50 is arranged on an inner surface of the fitting groove 52. When inserting a screw 51 into the screw hole 50, the inside deck 33 is fixed to a skirt angle 36 by the screw 51. When fitting a decorative piece 38 to the fitting groove 52, the screw 51 exposed to the surface (the surface turning to the step 14 side) is covered with the decorative piece 38 by being inserted into the screw hole 50.
