PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately separate a sound component of a sound source in a specific direction.SOLUTION: A likelihood calculation unit 42 calculates an in-range likelihood Lin(k,m) indicative of the likelihood that each frequency component X(k,m) of a sound signal x(t) derives from a sound source within an object orientation range SP on an orientation axis AP, and an out-of-range likelihood(K,m) indicative of the likelihood that the frequency component is derived from a sound source outside the object orientation range SP. A reverberation analysis unit 44 calculates a reverberation index value R(k,m) according to a ratio of reverberation components with respect to each frequency component. In accordance with the in-range likelihood, the out-of-range likelihood, and the reverberation index value R(k,m), a coefficient setting unit 46 generates, for each frequency component X(k,m), a processing coefficient G(Gin(k,m),Gout(k,m)) for suppressing and emphasizing reverberation components derived from the sound source within the object orientation range SP or reverberation components derived from the sound source outside the object orientation range SP, out of the sound signal. A signal processing unit 52 makes the processing coefficient G of the frequency component X act on each frequency component X(k,m). |
