PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substantially odorless hygienic repellent hardly causing deterioration in effect due to learning and exhibiting excellent repellent effect over a long period.SOLUTION: A repellent is included in urine of wolves and exhibits repellent effect to mammals except humans and to birds. The repellent has characteristics 1 and 2: 1. the repellent is transferred to an aqueous phase when ether extraction of urine of wolves is carried out with pH of ≥4, while the repellent is precipitated when the ether extraction is carried out with pH of <4; and 2. the repellent is adsorbed to a stationary phase when urine of wolves is passed through the stationary phase including a silicon compound having octadecyl silyl groups, and eluted with a highly polar organic solvent. |
