PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dog clutch for automatic transmission, which enables quick automatic transmission when moving a sleeve with a shift actuator.SOLUTION: In a spline 26a formed in a sleeve 26, a plurality of high teeth 26a1 each having a tooth length higher than that of remaining low teeth 26a2 are formed. In a dog clutch part 23a, clutch front teeth 23b1 having the outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the high tooth and smaller than the inner diameter of the low tooth and of the same number as that of the high teeth are formed corresponding to the high teeth and extending from the front end face FE of an engagement part 23a to the rear end position RE of the dog clutch part. A middle clutch tooth 23b2 having an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the high tooth and smaller diameter of the low tooth is formed extending from the position, which is recessed the first specific amount t1 from the front face of the meshing part, at a position with a phase different from that of the clutch front tooth to the rear end position of the dog clutch part. The rear tooth 23b3 capable of meshing to the tooth groove of the spline is formed extending from the position, which is recessed the second specific amount larger than the first specific amount from the front end face of the meshing part, to the rear end position of the dug clutch part. |
